BidMyJob connects people who need odd jobs done with local people who can do them. No fees, no middleman — you agree the price directly.

1. 1. Post your job (free)

   Describe what needs doing, where it is (only your area — e.g. LS8 — is shown publicly), and your budget if you have one. Fixed price, hourly, or open to offers.

2. 2. Locals get notified

   People nearby who do that kind of work get an email straight away. Your job also appears in local search results.

3. 3. Bids come in

   Each bid includes a price, how long it'll take, and the bidder's profile with ratings from previous jobs.

4. 4. Chat before you choose

   Message any bidder to firm up details. Contact details stay private until you accept someone.

5. 5. Accept a bid

   Accept the bid you like — other bidders are politely declined automatically, and you get your helper's phone number.

6. 6. Job done? Leave a review

   Mark the job completed and rate your helper. Reviews are what make the community trustworthy.
